I need some suggestions, not only for the content, lighting, camera work etc.. but for how to get a better quality video on youtube.
I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio.

Wow. Was that done entirely in reactor?

All reactor except the springy hands when the gumballs fall. There was a lot of "tricks" I wanted to do but couldn't pull off with reactor. I have a hard time getting consistent results with reactor spring, point to point and hinge, not really sure what it is I do wrong or right. I just know that sometimes I can make them work and sometimes I can't.

That's really good. Most of the stuff I've done in reactor doesn't quite look right - usually the weights don't look quite right. All your collisions and falls look pretty good though. Was it all done in one take?

Two takes. I wanted to do it all with one RB collection but I ended up having to use two.
It just took to long to simulate. It was taking forever to find out if the next thing I added was going to work. Plus it seemed like anything I added after the funnel drop effected everything, or at least something prior to that. SO when the ball drops through the funnel, take two begins.
I also had problems with the animation looking nothing like the simulation. Do you ever have that problem?

I have had that problem. Strangely enough I did do something like this a few years back. It was just a quick muck around thing didn't spend much time on it, the annoying thing I found was that everytime you simmed it the animation would be slightly different. Even if you hadn't changed anything it would react differently each time. It was annoying, but I guess it's good, it's probably more realistic that way.

Does it have to be youtube? As we can offer video hosting. All you have to do is send me an image series and I can make a flash player for it at whatever rez/quality you want. Including preloader etc.

No, it doesn't have to be youtube. What your suggesting sounds great. Is there a file format that's best for this?
When I first started using Max, a tutorial on rendering said to save my render frames as .TGA.
Only after considering sending an image series have I started to question that. The TGA images are 960kb and a JPG is only 116. The only difference I see is that one is a RAM and hard drive eater. There are 1768 frames in this animation.
What do I need to do?

Generally it's a good idea to render out to a lossless format like tga or tif so that you'll always have that high quality render. Then if you want you can save them as jpgs if you need to email them or something.

RAR only got the jpegs down to 241mb, should I try to squeeze some more out of it? I can convert to lower quality jpg, if need be.

Thanks to all for the help and encouragement.

what res are you using? I probably wouldn't go higher than 320 for a flash.

I couldn't email it cause yahoo only allows 10mb, and I couldn't figure out how to get Winrar to span.
Below is a rapidshare type site.
