Its extremely similar to pencil, I still can't get over how good the intuos 3 is and sketchbook kindof blurs the image when you zoom in unlike the jagged edge you get with photoshop at some zoom levels. Grab the demo off imagine FX magazine if you havent already. As for painting I havent done much. I've been living in a small unit so oils are a bit messy and I have yet to spend the required hours on a digital painting. I started colouring this one but it looks crap at the moment.
