Could anyone tell me how to invert the faces of a box, so I can texture the inside of the box, if that makes sense it's for a room. Being a novice this is the conclusion I've come to on how to make a room, is this the best way? I've played with NURB spline modelling but feel I'd be best off sticking with a simple box unless this isn't a habit I should be getting myself into

Thanks!

I would probably get the box, inset the top face to the thickness you want your walls to be, then extrude it into the box, forming 5 out of your six walls, then just use another box or plane to make the roof.

Quickest way I've found is to create your box and add a "Shell" modifier. That will hollow the box and give you an interior structure.

Or, you can flip the normals of the box in one of two ways. Either collapse to editable poly and select all the polygons then press flip from the editable poly menu. I think its under edit geometry. Or you can use a "normal" modifier and choose flip.
usefull for making a skydome from a large sphere.
