Looks cool man. Nice teapot! haha.

The lighting is real good.

Might want to stick an image plane outside the window for a nice environment.

I agree 100% with all those comments. Don't forget to blur the background image slightly and make it self illuminated.

Thanks, did as you asked btw,and I think it looks ''okay''.

On this other forum guys were completely yelling at me saying a 3yo could make this.
well, i'm just new at 3ds max and i have no idea if this is complex or simple work. I just like learning and messing around..

Finished version..hope you like it smile.gif

Yeah well a lot of people are bastards and think that just because they are good and have been doing 3d for years, they think anyone who is just starting is crap.

They forget that they were crap when they started.

I liked the angle you showed it at originally. And also the reflective mat under the items bothers me.

Can I also suggest have a look for a street scene photo, where you can see a bit of the road and some storefronts, I think it would really suit your image well.

I would just try and turn the camera a bit to get the white door into the reflection, the stacked bricks in the reflection look a bit plain, but nice render altogether!! Great Work!

Its great. You gotta cook those pies!

You can see on the power cable how it kinda chunks out around that curve? Increase the interpolation to smooth this out. Or even use Adaptive interpolation and see which one gives better results.

To me it seems like the reflective material should be slightly blurred, as not many things (apart from mirrors) give a crisp reflection like that.

I agree. Add some smudges or scratches or even just a noise map.

It's coming along nicely. Keep it up!
I think even with a mirror, you have to be aware of WHAT it reflects.

Well, you gotta love it, it is fun. Some time ago I saw a scene (seen a saw hahaha)
with a bunch of chrome objects, of various shapes, in a mirrored case. It had reflections of reflections of reflections.. etc. Very cool to look at.

Looking forward to an update.
