What did you who've seen it think of this film.

I thought the CG was rather well done. And the story was okay.

Several scenes were highly reminiscent of Half-life 2 (think "We don't go to Ravenholme" ).

its based on one of the best books i have ever read, but i'm not too sure about another movie telling of this story since its already been done twice.
And on the day the words "flimsy excuse" were re-defined we stood in awe and watched.

Was interested in seeing it, is it worth $8? And Matt, what are the other 2 you mentioned?

There was The Last Man on Earth in 1964 and The Omega Man in 1971.

I would say its worth the 8 bucks. The tension in some parts is amazing. Not bad for pretty much a solo performance throughout.

Yeh, might go see it then. That Cloverfield looks interesting as well, but I'm not really a fan of movies with massive amounts of shaky handheld camera work.

I saw Cloverfield last night and absolutely loved it. Makes a great change from most movies these days.

One of the people I was with got violently ill from the shaky handheld camera viewpoint. He had to leave the cinema haha.

hmmm, not a good sign. I don't get sick, I just find it annoying. If it's a good movie though...
