Hello everyone,

I'm an engineering PhD student who's in need for a 3D simulation, so googled for 3D forums and here I am! Please read my topic and provide advice if possible!

I'm taking part in a project related to Computer vision and Space operations. The concept is to use monocular (single) cameras for sensing some particular phenomena in space.

As my research is still an early study of a specific case, 3D simulations are needed to validate algorithms which have been developed. What is needed is relatively very simple for those who know the how-to.

A sample of what is needed can be downloaded here http://rapidshare.com/files/118248564/anim1.avi.html. As you will see, it's not complex but knowledge of reference frames, translation and rotation description, camera focal length and other properties would be of great benefit.

That's it for now. I can give more details for those interested.
Please let me know what you think and if you are interested to help!

Cheers.
Mo

Sounds interesting. Can I assume this will be an unpaid project?

Steve,
Thanks for moving the topic to the right forum.

I have to say I can't afford spending much on it. I was thinking to pitch for a help and then move to business when the project moves forward and a more professional artistic imagination is needed.
