Yeah you're right about that, I heard about how long the wait for ep2 was, but damn such a good game.

I still have a few achievements to get (stupid steam being in offline mode while I finished the game) and a few on portal too.

Half-life 2 is well worth it. The game is so detailed and the story is involving.

I downloaded HL2 from a torrent but I loved it so much I bought it on steam after.

I'd highly recommend getting The Orange Box from steam, you get Half-life 2, Half-life 2: Episode 1, Half-life 2: Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2.

It's 50 bucks at the moment. You cant go wrong with 5 killer games for 50 bucks.

And Portal will change your gaming experience forever... seriously.

I absolutely agree, you have to get the orange box if you are even remotely considering playing half life 2. Episode 2 was great, Portal is amazing in parts and a good glimpse into one path future games should take and Team Fortress 2 is a good way to pass the hours.

People seem to forget Peggle when they mention the Orange box, I liked it so much I got the full version.
