Hey I'm a 3DS Max Modeler myself(not a good one though frown.gif) although I have recently been working on creating a game. I've been told that a great way to learn is not to follow but to do and that is what I'm hoping to do here.

The idea is I want to recruit 3DS modelers who will become developers for the game. However I also want them to be part of a community and thus I am not asking simply for professionals. I ask only that you have an interest in modeling and that you enjoy being part of a community. I'm hoping to create a place were not only are you helping to create something, you are bettering yourself and at the end of the day you'll have accomplished something. And if you get stuck along the way there'll be someone to help you out.

Of course there is a cut of final profits offered but these will not be relevant until the game is released but I hope not your primary reason for joining. Also even if you cant stay with the project all the way make sure you stay in touch as the profits will be split by contributions and dedication. Well if you'd like to know more or simply to see whats on offer you can check us out here:

Or email me at:

And hey if all you have is feedback that is always welcome! smile.gif

Oh figured I'd better point out this is part of a development team so there will inevitably be deadlines etc. However I'm hoping to organise it so that its more a system of contests and collaborations. There will also be inter team contests between the programmers and the creative team. smile.gif

It seems pretty ambitious, can you actually do all that stuff you mentioned on the website? It defintately sounds interesting If you think you can do it.

Sounds like a huge undertaking. Are you a programmer? This sounds like a very interesting project unfortunately I think you may have some trouble in recruiting people. This could consume a year or even more and im not sure people will be willing to do that with no pay and no real promise of pay in the future. What happens if the game falls through do people still get paid or is it dependent on weather the game sells?

I agree. I think your best chance is to recruit a lot of people to do a little bit rather than a few people to do the bulk of the work. Unfortunately it's going to be hard to recruit people with nothing much to show. Do you have any concept drawings or is it still just at the idea stage?

Also Maybe you should think about making a demo and getting a sponsor? Thats how most people do it.
