Hey hey!!
I am sorta looking around for a spline based modeling technique, geared toward car modeling but anything that can show me a method would be a great help.
I know its possible, coz I used this technique a long time ago, but sorta forgotten the specifics....
Any links or ideas would be awesome!!!

Ha! Got it!

Good old Max 7 has the example of modeling a knight chess piece using the technique.
Its just a simple step now to get it working for a complete car!

Anyway, hope this helps others...

Whats even cooler is.....

1) Layout the basic car shape using splines....
2) Turn on 'Snap to Edge'
3) Create the mesh polygon by polygon, simply follwing the shape as you go.

It lets you quickly generate a basic shape, and then get clever with your topology!!!
