I installed yesterday 3ds max 2008 on my pc after uninstalling Max 9...but i'm facing some problems with the new version . it hangs at times... and i think it's little slow than the older one......has anyone used Max 2008??

Steve Martin uses it, I think. And I think the slowness and bugginess is just a case of bloat. They start adding too much useless crap in and dont worry about optimizing the code.

ok....i see.... why did autodesk introduced the new version when there is almost no change in max 2008??

My first computer was a 386 with one whole meg of RAM and a 100mb hard drive.
My operating system (win3.1 ) came on a few floppies!!!
I now have 512mb RAM, and 500Gig of hard drive , and THAT AIN'T enough!!
My freakin operating sys wants it all..!!!

I know, its absolutely ridiculous hey?

My first was an Amiga500, 1 Meg ram expansion. I learnt to code BASIC on it.
